"The houseboat fit our needs for the “camping” we did while we were there.  We enjoyed the open-air feel and “back to nature” aspect of Charlie’s Island.  While I enjoyed using the fishing poles for catching some fresh “grunts” for lunch and dinner on a couple of days, we got the most use out of the kayaks………..definitely a nice addition.  The location of Charlie’s Island is very good, also.  The view from most angles is of unpopulated or developed land or water, and the proximity to civilization is more of a security blanket than an intrusion. The week seemed all-too-short.  I’ve already shown the photos to the folks in my office and they were very impressed/envious.  We’ll definitely keep this option for vacation in mind for future occasions."

Experience the tranquil Gulf waters of the Florida Keys from the unique perspective of your own floating home.  Our houseboat located at a private marina in Marathon, and is an outstanding place for a true ‘Keys’ experience. 

Our dock has picnic table/chairs, lounge chairs, running water, electricity, cable, laundry facilities, bathrooms, internet and more.  We provide a couple kayaks for your enjoyment as well. 

The houseboat sleeps 3-4 people.  There is a Queen bed and a twin bed in the bedroom and a full sofa sleeper in the living room.  The living room has a T.V. and cable.  The kitchen has a refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven, coffee pot & a microwave.  There is air conditioning as well as electricity on the boat, so there is no need for a noisy generator. There is also room to park your own boat at the dock for no additional charge.

We will take time to familiarize you with your houseboat.  As always, we are available to answer any questions you may have!

My girlfriend and I were so enchanted during our first stay at Dolphin Jump Key, that we decided to return the following year and actually get married on the island!  We were married on the island at sunset by a justice of the peace with just her and I present. Talk about romantic - WOW!
